Elegant design, great picture quality, sluggish user interface
Philips TV-s have always stunned me with their design. I recently bought a series 6000 version because it looks minimalistic and in the shop it had much better image quality compared to other TVs with similar price tag. But that's basically it. I was disappointed of the complex user interface and the slowness of it. It looks like some school kids are doing software for Philips. To reach TV settings you have to make at least 15 clicks on the remote. Better would be special button for settings on the remote. Settings menu division into subsections didn't make also much sense, e.g. the properties to change the picture quality are divided into several submenus with complex names, thus difficult to figure out what exactly they are doing.
I would recommend this TV if it's used only for watching programs or movies. Today's Smart TV it is not.
