This Phillips series 4000 Epilator is a fantastic product to remove hair from under your arms and legs. It has 3 different settings to use to make removing hair comfortable. This epilator removes even the shortest of hair in no time at all. I have throughly enjoyed using this product. And this is my go to product to remove hair on a monthly basis. No more having to shave weekly has this product is epic. I highly recommend this product to anyone.

This is easy to use. It has changeable heads for different needs. The epilator is effective in pulling hairs from the root. This comes with a little bag to help store the item and accessories.

The Philips Epilator series 4000, is a fabulous hair removal system/shaver. A very neat and compact shaver, fitting perfectly into my hand with stability and grip. I love how its corded so an even motion with no draining batteries. The inter-changing heads are perfect for different areas of the body and very easily removed and replaced and very easily cleaned. The shaver with foil leaves a very close but silky soft feeling on my skin. The epilator does take a little getting used to, but with perseverance has that long lasting effect we females require. The comb head does a good job on the longer and coarse hairs with ease. Great it has a light its that added bonus. My only gripe would be the flimsy pouch for keeping all attachments in doesn't do it any justice. A perfect female hair removal system with everything a girl needs for that very quick yet easy removal of unwanted hairs in any area. Very highly recommended.

I absolutely love it. It’s easy to use and hair grows back slower. It is less painful than my previous epilator which is very important to me. My previous one was rough on bikini area and sometimes made it bleed, but I don’t get it with this one. Definitely recommend!

It's so simple to use, quick and easy. I havnt used an epiltor before and thought it would really hurt but it didn't there were a couple of bits that were more sensitive but after a couple of uses you get used to it. I used to shave and would forever be cutting myself no more and also I have noticed the speed at which my hair grows back meaning I dont have to do it every few days but once a week is plenty to keep ontop of unwanted hair especially as I have PCSO my hair grows back quickly. I love the fact there are 2 speed settings and the built in light which makes it easy to see the hairs. I also love the fact that you can change the head making it a shaver as well as a epilator, you get everything you need in the box.

After hearing mixed views on epilation, it was with some apprehension I started testing the Philips Epilator Series 4000 (BRE257/00) as a complete novice. Not having a high pain threshold, I used the massage cap to begin with for a gentler sensation and was pleasantly surprised by how gentle the process was to remove hair. The LED light on the epilator is a great idea as it is easier to spot any missed hairs with this. The shaving head also included is good for any touch ups required. Getting the correct angle for the best hair removal does take a few times to perfect, but once you get the hang of it, the easier it becomes. To sum up, the results so far have been extremely good in removing hair and leaving my skin smooth. For a novice to epilating I would certainly recommend giving this model a try.

I had thought that this would be painful to use. I gritted my teeth and went ahead and was pleasantly surprised Although it stings a little it’s not uncomfortable I used it on my face around moth and chin and that was fine no problem at all The soft light hair on my cheeks was a little more sensitive but no big deal Legs no problem at all Used shaver 1st underarm then epilator again no issues The light is a good bonus, only criticism is standard plug would have preferred bathroom type plug but not a big issue Well packaged

I’ve been using the Philips Epilator Series 4000 BRE247/00 and overall it’s become my go-to for at-home hair removal. It’s corded (so no battery worries), yet compact enough to grip comfortably in one hand. The LED light helps me spot even fine hairs and I like having two speed settings for sensitive areas vs tougher spots. The massage cap softens what can be an awkward tugging sensation at first. It leaves me smooth for up to four weeks, which saves a lot of time compared to weekly shaving. On the downside, it’s not cordless and sometimes I find certain areas more challenging to reach, but for the price and performance I think it’s a solid starter epilator.
