Philips AventDECT-babymonitor

We used this monitor with our first child and are now using it for our 2nd child, almost 6 years later, and it is still going strong. The sound coverage has always been excellent and very clear. Battery lasts for ages too. The only thing that hasn't lasted so well is some of the pixels on the display screen are disappearing but the screen is still readable. The belt clip and neck strap are handy when walking around the house/garden and all the options are remote from the lightweight and compact parent handset. The one downside of this monitor for us is the lullabies dont play for very long and we have needed to constantly replayed them on occassion to help our kids sleep.

After three years of use my three year old decided to throw this monitor as she was having a tantrum and I realized that this monitor is the one thing I can't live without! I can be sitting ousted without a worry in the world as the range and sensitivity are excellent! The only thing is when I sent my monitor to get fixed it took them three weeks to get back to me just to tell me it can't be fixed although my unit is fully functioning! My baby's unit is the damaged one and I'm not sure if I should buy a new one or if I can find the baby device somewhere since the monitor discontinued everywhere.

We originally had SCD499 and were extremely happy with it. Unfortunately parents unit stooped charging properly after almost 2y of constant usage so Philips replaced it for us with this one. This product is great. We have been so happy with the range and no interference at all. It works well trough very thick walls as well. Lula-byes have a bit of a "metal" sound to them but our daughter seamed to be happy with them. They also go on for a long time. Talk back function is great and so are the temperature and humidity sensors. We have been taking it everywhere we traveled as the bag that comes with it is very practical. If we were buying again I would definitely go for same Philips technology, possibly with a video monitoring as well this time, but as this one works perfectly well even after 3y we are more than happy to use it for baby No2 as well.

This replaced our older Philips baby monitor. This one has never let us down, holds a charge for days on the parent unit, and has never had any interferance from other products.

I was recommended this monitor by a friend and I have to say that its been brilliant. My baby loves the montor's lullaby's to fall asleep to and I love the ease of use and clarity of the sound. Ive heard other people's monitors and this has always been the best quality and beaten the others hands down.

Das Babyphone ist einwandfrei, es hat eine gute Reichweite (funktioniert im ganzen Haus 3 Stockwerke). Es ist sehr einfach zu bedienen. Die Basisstation steht stabil und der Empfänger ist klein genug um in der Hosentasche rumgetragen zu werden. Es gibt keine Störgeräusche.

Wir haben das Gerät jetzt seit zwei Jahren im Einsatz. Täglich im Kinderzimmer und auch für unterwegs. Unschlagbar hierbei ist die Reichweite des Systems. Wir haben im Urlaub ein Zimmer in der 5. Etage gehabt und den Empfänger mit an den Pool/die Bar genommen und hatten immer noch perfekten Empfang. Sehr schön auch die LED-Anzeige, wenn das Kind weint - oftmals ist es in der Umgebung eben etwas lauter und da ist so ein optischer Hinweis schon Gold wert. Auch die Temperatur-Anzeige hat uns schon oft geholfen, so dass wir erkennen konnten ob und wann wir Nachts nochmal für den Kleinen lüften müssen. Auch die Gegensprech-Funktion nutzen wir jetzt immer mal wieder. Unser KInd lässt sich damit sehr gut beruhigen. Also - ein tolles Gerät, funktionell, mit toller Reichweiter, ausdauerndem Akku. Einzig zu bemängeln gibt es, dass wir hin- und wieder das Problem haben, dass das Gerät einfach mal ausgeht. Vermutlich sitzt der Akku nicht perfekt. Aber das passier vielleicht 2-3 mal im Jahr - und vermutlich ist es dem Umstand geschuldigt, dass unser Junge Technik liebt und auch sein "Hallo" schon öfter in die Hand bekommen hat.

- keine Störungen durch andere Frequenzen! - alles was in der Produktbeschreibung zu lesen ist, stimmt auch vollkommen überein! - es macht keinen Unterschied, innerhalb der Reichweite ob ich nur im Nebenzimmer sitze oder bis an die Grenze des Empfanges gehe, der Klang als auch das funktionieren der Elterneinheit ist absolut top! - diese Gerät ist das Geld wert! Jeder Zeit wieder! - das einzige was nicht schön ist, das der Elterneinheitclip zwar generell gut hält (am Gerät ohne Makel) allerdings muss ich darauf achten, woran ich die Einheit befestigen will, an einem Gürtel hält das einwandfrei, nur an der Joginghose dagegen läuft man Gefahr es ständig verlierer zu können, weil das Gerät anscheinend eine gewisse Widerstandsfähigkeit haben will, aber na ja, dann stellt man es halt in hörbare Reichweite...
