This is the best modern boombox anybody could ask for!
It has a unique look of an original boombox from the old school days, and it sounds incredible.
The radio is crystal clear, and the volume settings are great considering the low profile size of this boombox!
It has a slick black design and every inch of it looks stylish, it also has the traditional carry handle for portability!
Inside is a USB port for connecting your phone/mp3 etc and a earphone jack for earphones/headphones and AUX.
I connected my mp3 device via the Audio in jack and it plays automatically with no hassle at all, it also has a storage compartment inside to place the mp3 safely which is a great feature!
The bass boost feature is also great, as it amplifies the bass to give even more audio quality!
I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants great audio at home or on the move!

Very pleased with this, I needed a neat, tidy, mobile method of playing my MP3 music and found this player. Construction & design is pleasing. Easy to use. Batteries or mains supply. The FM tuner is spot on. The output volume is loud enough for a medium size room. The overall sound quality is good but not outstanding, I feel some top end notes are "missing", this could have been overcome if the manufactures would have spent a couple of quid extra and fitted real tweeters instead of silly fake ones !! The clincher for me is the fact that my MP3 player or USB stick is neatly tucked out of the way behind the damped front opening panel. Overall, well done Phillips.

very nice boombox
With the advent of portable mp3 players, the boombox has become a lost art. I've been looking for one that had decent bass and volume, compared to the pitiful 3-4 watt systems that are widely available. This one is easy to use, has very good bass, good loud volume, and overall good sound. It is still quiet compared to an old boombox I purchased in the mid 90s that died about 10 years later, but much better than the majority of what is readily available in my area.
